Location

We are located at the heart of Middlesbrough town centre at Broadcasting House. The bus station is right next door and Middlesbrough railway station is just a short walk away.

Getting There by Road

From the A66 towards Middlesbrough there is a large roundabout giving access to Middlesbrough Town Centre and St Hilda's. Take the Town Centre turn off and you can see Broadcasting House ahead to your left. Take the filter lane to the left onto Newport Road. Directions for each of the main car parks follow.

Car Parks

On-street parking is limited in the immediate area but there is a choice of convenient public car parks close by.

Denmark Street Car Park

Immediately left from the filter lane there is a one way entrance to Denmark Street car park. If you miss this, stay in the left hand lane and carry on to the traffic lights where you will find another filter lane to your left which is another entrance to the car park. This is a long stay car park, charges are £2.80 for 10 hours.

Sainsbury's Car Park

Carry on to the traffic lights using the middle lane. Go straight ahead, this will put you onto the left hand filter lane for Sainsbury's. Their car park is larger but short stay. It costs £1.00 for one hour or £2.00 for two hours, however the charges are refundable in the store when you spend £5.00 or more in the store (excluding purchases at the cigarette and petrol kiosks).

Hill Street Centre Car Park

There is both ground level and multistorey car parking suitable for disabled people. Consider it a short stay car park. Carry on past Sainsbury's filter lane the road guides you to a barrier. Take a ticket, you pay when you leave at machines located in the Hill Street Centre shopping mall and within the multistorey. The machines take notes as well as coins and change is given. The charges are £1.40 for two hours but rise to £2.60 for three hours with similar price hikes up to seven hours.
