Typically we will discuss with you the nature of your business, the kind of site you would like and your preferences and dislikes. It is usually best to visit your workplace where it is easier for you to explain and demonstrate your company, but you are welcome to visit us if you prefer. You can decide whether you want to produce some all or none of the content, and to which other websites you would like to link. We will suggest some layouts and try to point out any advantages in a particular layout, and any pitfalls or possible problems.

With a basic idea of your requirements we can produce mockups of different layouts and possible colours to make things easier for both of us to imagine how a site will look. We will send you a pack containing an estimate of the cost for each layout. The price of additional work, such as graphics, photo manipulation and optional maintenance costs will be included in the pack.

We are always happy to answer any questions you may have. If you wish to proceed, we will request a second meeting to discuss your requirements in more detail, such as colours and any additional decorative graphics you may want.

We will draw up the specification for the website, calculate the total price and duration. If you wish to go ahead with the project, we normally ask 20% of the total cost before work begins on your new website.
